Purpose:
Designs and develops solutions to complex applications problems.
Performs systems management and integration functions.

Tasks
- Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, or
scalability of system architecture.
- Provide technical guidance or support for the development or
troubleshooting of systems.
- Monitor system operation to detect potential problems.
- Perform ongoing hardware and software maintenance operations,
including installing or upgrading hardware or software.
- Establish functional or system standards to ensure operational
requirements, quality requirements, and design constraints are
addressed.
- Evaluate existing systems to determine effectiveness and
suggest changes to meet organizational requirements.
- Train system users in system operation or maintenance.
- Operate and maintain production machinery.

Environmental Conditions
- Employee occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions. The
indoor environment is not climate controlled. While performing the
duties of the job, the employee regularly works near moving
mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to vibration. The
employee operates mobile equipment, operates cranes or hoists and
is exposed to hot materials. The noise level in the work
environment is loud and employee is exposed to dust.
