Structural EngineerLocation: Chicago, IllinoisExperience: 7-10+ yearsAbout the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chicago, Illinois. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong background in structural engineering, a passion for design, and a proven track record in client-facing roles. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of building projects across multiple sectors, including commercial, residential, educational, and industrial. Additionally, the role offers the potential to lead and mentor a team of engineers.Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Analysis:
• Perform structural analysis and design for a wide range of building projects utilizing materials such as steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Project Management:
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other consultants.
• Oversee quality control processes throughout the design and construction phases.
• Client Engagement:
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, understanding their goals and providing innovative engineering solutions.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and proposals to clients.
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Team Leadership:
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
• Lead project teams, ensuring high performance and effective communication.
• Contribute to team development by identifying training opportunities and encouraging professional growth.Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 7-10+ years of structural engineering experience, including client-facing roles.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required; SE license is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., Revit, RISA, SAP2000, ETABS, or similar).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Experience working on a variety of building types and sectors.
