ITAR.Project Engineer Position Summary:In your role as Project
Engineer, you will be working directly with our customers and our
manufacturing teams focused mostly on Additive Technologies. You'll
be using your engineering background and manufacturing process
knowledge, to manage high mix/low volume projects ensuring we're
executing projects within scope, to the customer requirements and
within budget, while maintaining customer satisfaction.Project
Engineer Responsibilities: Quoting - Create and support customer
quotes from prototype to production across our additive and
traditional manufacturing capabilities.Project Management -
Managing projects for quoted work through design, production,
inspection, and customer acceptance. Risk Mitigation - Coordinate
with stakeholders to ensure the on-time delivery within customer
spec of all orders.Technical Support - Working with Fathom Account
Managers & customers to provide design for manufacturability (DFM)
feedback. Act as a high-value technical product development
resource to Fathom customers.Production Resolution - Interpreting
customer drawings and requirements to develop necessary
manufacturing process plans while identifying necessary technical
resources to successfully complete customer parts.Communication
Management - Conducting review of all customers technical
requirements (quality, process, regulatory) and ensure quotes
address all requirements. Transferring those requirements clearly
to operational production staff upon customer order.Project
Engineer Requirements:Must have a B.S in an engineering or
manufacturing discipline or significant relevant experience.Must
have 3 years of Additive Manufacturing experience Must be
proficient with parametric CAD software, preferably Solidworks and
other web-based manufacturing software toolsMust be proficient in
critical to quality and quality control documentationUnderstanding
of applicable additive technologies and general manufacturing
processes to become a valued partner to our customers and the
additive team.Understanding of various additive technologies; DMLS,
MJF, SLS, FDMBasic understanding of traditional manufacturing
technologies; CNC, Injection MoldingPrevious experience quoting
nice to have Engaged in a customer facing role with excellent
customer skills.Understanding of shop routings and ability to
create them in company ERP systemExcellent customer verbal and
written communication skillsFlexible schedule to support West Coast
customer base Schedule: Onsite: Hartland, WI - Monday through
