Locums - Aurora, Illinois, ENT JobClinical Role:

  • Start Date: 11/18/2024
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks (with option to extend)
  • Shift Details: 5 x 8
  • Schedule: 2 Weeks per Month; Monday-Friday 9a-5p in clinic; expects it to be 30 hours in clinic and 10 hours in OR. Call schedule is 1:3 for weekends and 1-2 times per week night call
  • Support staff: MA, nursing, audiologists
  • Amount of coverage needed per month: 5 x 8; Full-Time
  • Patients per day: 20-25
  • Patient population/age: All ages
  • Department description: Otolaryngology (ENT)
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Hospital bed size: 210
  • Skills required: Bread and butter ENT; ear, larynx, nasal/sinus, throat, peds (ear tubes, tonsillectomy, etc.) procedures
  • Practice Setting: Hospital Based Clinic
  • Board Certification in Otolaryngology or Board Eligible with 5 years of training required
  • DEA - Required
  • CSR - Required
  • Will take new graduates but cannot consider those with a recent gap in work history as they require procedure logs for the last 24 months
  • Willing To License (will consider IMLC for the right candidate, but IL licensed is highly preferred)
