• Certification Details
• BLS - Basic Life Support - Required for all Nursing and Tech positions, Medical Assistant
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Required for Cath Lab, Critical Care Float, Endo/GI Lab, EMT, ER, ICU, IR, L&D, PACU, Tele
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support - Required for PACU and Pediatrics, preferred for ER
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure - Required for L&D and NICU
• CHEMO - Required for Oncology
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring - Required for L&D
• Tech Cert Verification - National - Required for various technical positions
• State License 1 Verification - Required as applicable by profession
• NIH Stroke Certification - Required annually for specific units after 10/14/2024
• Various other required certifications and competencies as per job role

  • Shift: 3x12s, every other weekend(36 guaranteed hours) no flexibility, no block, 5 days RTO Max (cannot be consecutive)
  • Population/Unit: Units included in float pool: Burn ICU, CCU, Medical ICU, SICU, Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU - Up to ratios -1:2, 1:4, 1:5
  • Required Skills: BLS, ACLS, Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, Arterial Line Management, Central Lines, Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac and Vasoactive Drips, BiPAP/CPAP, Ventilated Patients & Management, Interpretation of ABG's, Suctioning, Isolation Precautions

    • Locals ok (75 miles is local rate)
    • 2+ years of ICU experience
    • First time traveler = ok
      • Schedule Information
      • 3x12 hours shifts
      • Every other weekend
      • 36 guaranteed hours
      • No flexibility
      • Maximum 5 days RTO (Request Time Off), cannot be consecutive

        • Ratios range from 1:2 to 1:5 depending on the unit
