TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 53226 About The Position Job Title: Staff Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Extended Recovery Job Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Schedule will mainly be 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, but could vary sometimes to 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM; Potentially float to other units Guaranteed Hours: 40.00 Hours per Week Experience: Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment License: Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact Certifications: - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire Must-Have: - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through the completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred - Non-BSN nurse with less than one year of licensed registered nurse experience will be required to enroll in a BSN (or higher nursing degree) program Job Description: - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for identified patient groups in an inpatient environment - Demonstrate competency in delivery of care to primarily adult populations - Utilize skills as outlined in the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice - Engage in a mix of acute care and outpatient recovery - Exhibit clinical competence and experience specific to the job requirements - Participate in continuous professional development and education programs - Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations This job is a travel nursing opportunity within the clinical nursing category.
