• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Preferred certifications: PALS and CPI
  • Job Details
  • ER Nurses needed for immediate starts in Chicago, IL.
  • Three 12-hour shifts per week and candidates will need at least 1 year of experience in the ER.
  • ER Nurses will be working in an environment where the common diagnoses/types of patients include Respiratory patients, Overdoses (heroin), geri-psych, and a typical ED population.
    • Job Requirements
    • At least 1 year of experience in the ER
    • BLS and ALS required
    • Preference for PALS and CPI
      • Schedule Information
      • Three 12-hour shifts per week
      • Schedule is made out 4 weeks at a time
      • Overtime is available
      • Modified self-scheduling
        • Unit Specific Information
        • No Fast Track but will see fast track patients out of waiting room
        • Patients per day: 20-40 visits
        • Ratios: 1:4, can be up to 1:5-6 including hallway patients
        • In-house Security: 24/7
        • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: typical ED population
        • No separate area for Psych holds; they are held in the ER
        • ED does not have an interventional cath lab in house

          • Client has a profile review process
          • Accepts local clinicians
          • Orientation: Every 4th Tuesday of the month ONLY
          • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
