Job SummaryThe Langham Chicago seeks a skilled Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurants, bars, and other food and beverage outlets. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team and lead our culinary and service teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Provide direction and supervision to food servers, server assistants, and other staff, ensuring they meet high standards of service and quality.
• Food and Beverage Operations: Ensure that all food and beverage outlets comply with sanitation and safety standards, and that equipment is in good working order.
• Quality Control: Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction, and take corrective action to address any issues.
• Inventory Management: Document inventory forecast usage and monitor supplies to ensure that restaurants are stocked with necessary items.
• Guest Interaction: Interact with customers to determine their needs, satisfaction, and resolve conflicts.
• Adaptability: Perform duties of line employees as needed during high-volume periods or emergency situations.Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma required, degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management preferred.
  • Experience: 1 year of previous food and beverage and management experience.
