Pastry Cook Job DescriptionAbout the Role:We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team at Beatrix - Streeterville. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, producing, and presenting a variety of baked goods, pastries, and desserts.Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and Production: Prepare baked goods according to prescribed recipes and special requests, ensuring high-quality and presentation standards are met.
• Inventory Management: Assist the Chef in overseeing the bread and pastry inventory, communicating needs to the ordering manager to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Flexibility and Teamwork: Be available to work a variety of hours, days, and shifts, including weekends, and demonstrate effective teamwork and communication skills to ensure seamless operations.
• Equipment and Safety: Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment, including knives, to maintain a clean and safe working environment.Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, move safely through all areas of the restaurant, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Communication and Multitasking: Effective communication and multitasking skills to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction, and calmly handle a busy and stressful environment.
