do:Position title: SAP iXp Intern - AI Architect - North America AI
Task ForceExpected start date: February 2025The AI Architect
Internship will serve as part of the NA Chief Business Office, as a
contributing member of the NA AI Task Force.The role of the NA AI
Task Force is threefold:
- Supporting RfP responses for Business AI software deals using
generative AI capabilities to streamline the currently manual
process in place.
- Presenting high-level, multi-customer AI presentations,
particularly those requested by the SAP experience center locations
across North America.
- Supporting programmatic staffing support of SAP's Business AI
event strategy throughout 2025, across the NA AI Community.The
successful candidate will work alongside regional AI leadership and
receive coaching on the operations of an AI customer
success-forward business in a supportive learning environment. The
role will have the opportunity to provide substantive contributions
to a rapidly growing part of SAP's strategic direction, and
first-hand exposure to customers and the AI buying process.From a
technology perspective, an AI Architect Intern will increase in
knowledge of SAP's software portfolio at an architectural level,
including AI architectural patterns (such as knowledge graphs, the
LLM landscape, RAG, AI's business value narrative and the broader
SAP Business AI portfolio) and AI commercialization. A strong
candidate for the role is passionate about operating in a
rapidly-growing, constantly-evolving AI practice with opportunities
to try out multiple skills across the AI GTM domain. Limited travel
may be required for in-person meetings.Primary Activities of the AI
Architect Internship:
- Building a mechanism, with support from hands on keyboard
talent, for automating AI RfP responses & AI strategic account
planning.
- Personally supporting the RfP response process for AI and
coordinating across the regional and global sales teams.
- Presenting directly to customers at a high level about SAP's
Business AI strategy.
- Supporting programs like the Top 25 Customers program &
activation support programs to help with demand generation of
Business AI in the region, and create marquee references.What you
bringWe're looking for a candidate who exhibits a willingness to
dive into a rapidly growing area of the SAP business. Someone who
is able to handle ambiguity will operate well in this role, as the
nature of the Business AI space is very fluid as it continues to
grow. Most importantly, those who are lifelong learners and
passionately curious will be successful.
- Education: Bachelors or Apprenticeship certification with a
focus on technology. DPI Apprenticeship highly desirable.
- Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated
(start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a
coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor's,
master's or JD/PhD program.
- Experience as an end user of AI systems (Anthropic, OpenAI,
etc.).
- Familiarity with the basics of generative AI systems (e.g.
Retrieval Augmented Generation).
- Ability to communicate complicated topics in a straightforward
manner.
- A collaborative mindset to work with dozens of different teams
at once to move projects along.
- A basic understanding of the core SAP solution portfolio at a
high level.
- Ability to travel to customer experience centers.
- Desire to learn about the SAP Business AI use cases in
