Job Description:
A company is looking for a Legal Counsel,
Corporate/Securities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal review and analysis of SEC filings and advise on
compliance with securities laws
Assist with corporate governance issues and provide securities,
governance, and disclosure advice to various functional groups
Coordinate with Finance and other functions for Board materials and
oversee outside counsel as needed
Required Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in securities
regulations
Licensed to practice law in at least one state
Strong academic record (top 1/3 of class preferred)
Experience with corporate governance best practices for public
companies
