Job Description:
A company is looking for a Computational Geoscientist to develop
and improve computational risk assessment tools for geological
carbon storage.
Key Responsibilities
Develop computation risk analysis and assessment tools for
geological carbon storage
Assist in preparing technical papers, reports, and presentations
for conferences
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers to
accomplish project tasks
Required Qualifications and Education
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 3+ years of experience
or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience
Experience with software development in Python and familiarity with
common Python libraries
Experience with version control systems such as Git
U.S. Citizenship and ability to meet access requirements for NETL
systems
Willingness to travel periodically as business needs require (1-3
times a year)
