Contract Surety Underwriter Underwriting Manager Commercial Surety Insurance Bond Manager Fidelity Bonds Surety Carrier Underwriting Latin America USA Canada _ .

Manage book mix and leverage production opportunities to ensure territory profitability.

*** Oversee all lines of surety business in regional office.

*** Analyze loss and risk information and recognize "red flags" & inconsistencies in information.

*** Select and price business.

*** Communicate rationale for underwriting decisions.

*** Utilize underwriting tools and techniques to retain quality renewal book.

*** Maintain thorough understanding of bond's target products and programs.

*** Stay abreast of competitive data, risk and class specific information, marketplace data, current issues & trends affecting insurance industry, and similar.

*** Obtain advanced insurance related designations such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, Institute of Internal Auditors, or similar.
