Insurance Underwriter Large Construction Risks Contractor Controlled Insurance Programs CCIPs Owner Controlled Insurance Programs OCIPs Wrap-Ups General Liability _ .

Experienced Construction Risk Underwriter needed to take on a highly-visible position and effectively build and maintain business for an insurance carrier specializing in Construction Lines for Healthcare and Data Center projects.
Responsibilities:

*** Maintain and develop customer and broker relationships, monitor underwriting results and track production performance for the region.

*** Analyze, evaluate, accept, decline, rate, quote, and bind new or renewal submissions with high premium or risk exposure.

*** Review complex submissions, account losses, pricing models, and profitable premiums.

*** Create and implement policies, standards, and procedures aimed at profitable underwriting activities.

Qualifications:

*** Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or similar.

*** At least five years of production underwriting experience with a strong focus on Construction Risk.

*** Knowledge of underwriting Construction Risks.

*** Present relationships with brokers within the industry.
