  • CVOR Certified Surgical Technician position
  • Requires BLS certification
  • 2+ years of Open Heart experience required
  • Flexible shifts between 0650-1520
  • Call required based on department needs, currently 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month
  • Holiday call hours and rotation with regular staff, at least 1 per contract
  • May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
    • Job Requirements
    • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment
    • Completion of Ascension Specialty Exam prior to first assignment
    • Completion of Ascension Core Competencies within a year of start, updated yearly
    • Documented proof of two MMR vaccines or Positive IGG Titer
    • Fit Test required, preferred to be completed prior to start
    • Documentation of vaccination series completion or declination to vaccine
    • Health Statement required prior to first assignment, updated annually
    • 1st PPD within 1 year, 2nd PPD within 30 days of start
    • Documented proof of two Varicella vaccines or serological evidence of immunity
    • Valid Tdap required, must not be expired
    • Ascension Profile required prior to first assignment
    • At least two professional references required prior to first assignment
    • Ascension Criminal Background Check Results required prior to first assignment
    • Ascension EPLS required prior to first assignment
    • Ascension Skills Checklist to be completed within one year of start, updated annually
    • Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen required prior to first assignment
    • Ascension Education Verification to be completed within 90 days of start
    • Ascension Confirmation of Assignment required prior to first assignment
      • Schedule Information
      • M-F, flexible hours between 0650-1520
      • Call as needed based on department needs
      • 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month for call
      • Holiday call hours and rotation with regular staff
