Job Description:

Bathing Brands, a national leader in the distribution, installation, and maintenance of steam and sauna bathing environments, is searching for a full-time Supply Chain Coordinator.The Supply Chain Coordinator will assist in overseeing purchasing and forecasting efforts while driving cost savings by reviewing vendor pricing and negotiating with vendors for warranty and spare parts. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with acute attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.ResponsibilitiesAssist the procurement team to source, negotiate, and purchase materials we need to support the sauna and steam markets we serve.Develop strategies to manage vendor order formsUnderstand forecasting needs and metrics for long lead time vendorsEnsure pricing of all products is competitive and achieves desired profitabilityNegotiate with vendors for best price and lead timesDevelop and maintain tools to improve cycle time and process efficiency within the businessFollow up on critical purchasing orders to assure delivery and cost objectives are met.Communicate performance expectations and provide qualitative feedback to supply chain regarding performance of suppliers.Support gross profit goals by negotiating and controlling product costs, lead times, freight terms and purchase quantity requirements.Maintain existing supplier relationshipsAbility to meet deadlines without sacrificing qualityWork cohesively with other departments; sales, support, and warehouseRequirementsStrong attention to detailModerate understanding of distribution, supply chain, procurement, and forecastingBachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years' experience in a supply chain management roleFlexibility to work scheduled hours and extra hours as requiredOperate a computer and basic software at a proficient levelExcellent communication skillsWhen you join Bathing Brands, not only do you get to work with some great folks, but you'll enjoy comprehensive benefits too.
