Job Description:
Tiger Analytics is seeking a dynamic Data Science Analyst to
join our innovative team focused on Fraud Strategy. In this role,
you'll leverage advanced analytics and machine learning techniques
to identify fraudulent activities, enhance fraud prevention models,
and contribute to strategic decision-making processes. You'll work
closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, develop
predictive models, and provide actionable insights that will shape
the fraud strategy for our clients.Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and
anomalies that indicate potential fraudulent activities.
- Develop and implement machine learning models to improve fraud
detection and prevention mechanisms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define fraud-related metrics
and KPIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and
non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
- Continuously monitor and refine fraud detection models,
incorporating new data and techniques as needed.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and reports to assist in responding to
emerging fraud tactics and strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in
fraud detection and prevention.
- Contribute to a culture of data-driven decision making across
the organization.Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer
Science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the
financial services or fraud management sector.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages, such as
Python, R, or SQL and Snowflake (must).
- Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques,
specifically in developing and deploying predictive models.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, coupled
with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and
effective manner to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power
BI) is a plus.
- Knowledge of fraud detection methodologies and best practices
