Job Description:
A company is looking for a Sales and Business Development
Specialist to support the growth of its freight brokerage
business.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and acquire new shippers in strategic growth areas
Establish long-lasting partnerships with shippers and lead business
review meetings
Liaise with operations, finance, and other departments to ensure
alignment and identify new growth opportunities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university or
equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in the Transportation Industry in a freight
brokerage sales capacity
5+ years of sales experience
Advanced knowledge of flatbed FTL and the transportation
industry
Advanced knowledge of sales systems, tools, and transportation
rules and regulations
