• Employee Referral BonusesPurpose & Scope: This crucial role will be responsible for leading the quality team while ensuring the production of high-quality parts and components through proper measurement and testing practices.
  Essential Duties May Include: - Formatting quality plans, contract reviews, and launching new products to the floor - Providing timely communication and delivery of test reports to customers - Investigating and resolving quality issues by implementing corrective actions - Developing and controlling inspection plans for molding and secondary operations - Supporting and enforcing the ISO 9001:2015 management system - Utilizing and programming the CMM, Micro-Vu, optical comparators, and hand-held measuring equipment - Assisting team with all quality tests - Train, manage, and effectively lead team of quality personnel Requirements:
  • Three plus (3+) years of Quality Assurance experience within an injection molding environment
  • Proven experience in testing plastics injection molding products
  • Bachelors degree or higher (preferred)
  • Experience with correction actions (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone etc.)
  • Previous experience with internal and external ISO Audits
  • Previous blueprint experience and GD&T knowledge
  • FAI (First Article Inspection) & PPAP understanding
  • Prior programming and use of PC-DMIS for CMM
